Here, we follow a gentle, life-giving framework:

Learn with clarity: cutting through confusion around health, lifestyle, toxins, nutrition, and God’s design for our bodies.
Grow in intentional habits: small, practical choices that support whole-body wellness, peace, and consistency in everyday life.
Rise in God’s calling: living obediently, with discernment and purpose, as the natural overflow of what you’re learning and practicing.

Each episode is meant to feel like a calm, honest conversation offering practical takeaways, encouragement, and truth rooted in Scripture. We talk about whole-body wellness, stress and nervous system support, simple daily habits, and faith-filled lifestyle choices that honor God and care for the body He’s entrusted to you.

I also share insights from my background in elementary education, personal health experiences, and my training as a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Offering supportive, wellness-focused ideas for whole-body health, children, and learning that can bless your home and family as an overflow of your own growth.

Stress impacts far more than most people realize.
In today’s culture, many people are living in a constant state of pressure, stimulation, and overwhelm often without even recognizing it. Over time, this chronic stress keeps the nervous system stuck in “fight or flight,” affecting digestion, sleep, hormones, energy levels, immune health, and emotional well-being.
But this was never God’s design for the body.
In this episode, we explore how the nervous system works, why stress can become a root contributor to many health challenges, and how returning to God’s design for rhythm, rest, and peace can begin to restore balance.
Through both a biblical and practical lens, we’ll talk about how modern life keeps the body in survival mode and why simple daily rhythms can help signal safety to the body again.
Supporting your health doesn’t require complicated routines. Often the most powerful shifts come from returning to the simple rhythms and foundations God designed.

Learn with clarity. Grow in intentional habits. Rise in God’s calling.

Last week we talked about building small, sustainable habits that support your health and create capacity in your life. But capacity for what?
In this episode, we step into the RISE phase, exploring what it truly means to live in alignment with God’s calling. Health is not the end goal. Energy, balanced hormones, better sleep are not the destination.
When your body is constantly exhausted, inflamed, or dysregulated, obedience becomes harder. But when you steward your health with wisdom and consistency, you create the capacity to respond patiently, discern clearly, and step forward faithfully.
This episode reframes wellness through a Kingdom lens. You’ll learn why rising isn’t about platform or performance. It’s about alignment, availability, and obedience over outcome.
Supporting your health doesn’t make you more impressive. It makes you more prepared.
Learn God’s design. Grow in steady habits. Rise in faithful alignment.

Learn with clarity. Grow in intentional habits. Rise in God’s calling.

If you’ve ever felt like you know what you should be doing for your health but struggle to stay consistent, this episode will encourage you.
After understanding God’s design for the body, the next step is learning how to support that design in everyday life, not through perfection, pressure, or drastic changes, but through small, intentional habits.
In this episode, we talk about why consistency matters more than perfection, how peaceful progress supports both your nervous system and your faith, and how to approach habits from a place of stewardship rather than control. You’ll learn how simple rhythms like nourishment, rest, movement, and stress support, can create lasting change over time when practiced consistently.
This is the beginning of the GROW phase, building sustainable habits that support whole-body wellness.
Next week, we’ll move into the RISE phase, what it looks like to live in alignment with God’s calling as your health supports the life He’s leading you into.

If you’ve ever felt frustrated with your body, like it’s something you constantly need to fix, control, or manage, in this episode, I'm inviting you to step back and rebuild your foundation.
Before we talk about habits, routines, or improving your health, we need to understand something deeper: what does God actually say about the body?
Today we will explore what it means to see your body as God’s intentional design, not an inconvenience to your faith, not a problem to conquer, and not a project to perfect. We’ll talk about stewardship versus striving, reverence without obsession, and how guilt quietly shapes the way many women approach their health.
You’ll learn how removing fear and pressure creates space for peace and why growth becomes possible only after your foundation is rooted in truth.
This is the beginning of the LEARN phase, understanding God’s design for the body so you can move forward with clarity instead of confusion.
Next, week we’ll step into the GROW phase: building small, sustainable habits that support whole-body wellness without overwhelm or perfectionism.

Learn with clarity. Grow in intentional habits. Rise in God’s calling.

One crucial foundation to our health and wellness is .......
.....our spiritual health in the Lord.
How is your walk? Do you struggle with fear, any fear at all?
Fear is a personal struggle I've had over the years, and the Lord has revealed how deeply rooted that lie has been.  There are so many factors in our lives that contribute to those lies sneaking in and becoming a stronghold.  Strongholds and struggles in our walk with the Lord directly affect every aspect of our health.
Our spiritual health as a Christian is an often overlooked area for those focused on all the other areas such as diet and lifestyle changes. Then wonder why they are still stuck.
Listen in for some truth, and encouragement.

Made To Be Thriving with Melissa, NTP

Are you a busy woman struggling with a diagnosed or undiagnosed invisible illness?

Struggling with knowing where to even begin or have no idea what your next steps  are that will actually start helping you feel better?

Have you been told there’s nothing wrong with you, but you know deep down that’s not true?

Maybe you’ve received a diagnosis and thought that’s the end, this is just how life is for you now….

Friend, I’m here to tell you that there is hope!  I navigated all of that in my own health journey, finally followed that prompting of the Holy Spirit and started asking more questions.

I knew deep down something must be wrong as my symptoms were not only getting worse but more kept getting added to the list.

Conventional medicine failed me BIG, and I finally realized it was time to take a different route as the Lord began leading me to natural health practitioners who truly listened, understood, were encouraging, and never gave up!

Can you relate?

It’s time to break free my friend, become empowered and more aware so that you can make the best choices that will move you from just surviving each day in your busy life to actually thriving!  Come learn from someone who’s been where you are and wants to help you come on the other side of it all so you can serve well because you feel well.

You’re going to learn what it means to live a healthier life that honors the Lord as you become more aware and cautious about what you are exposing yourself to.  Remember that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and we have a great responsibility to take care of it to the best of our ability.

“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

My hope and prayer for you is that as you begin feeling better, everything you are implementing overflows into your family and community.  We’ve got lives to change for the Kingdom!

Pull up a chair, grab your favorite drink, healthy snack and maybe even a notebook.
